Bruce passed away on Thursday April
30th 2009. He was a long time friend and member of Troop 28.
Bruce was
also
very active in Scouting on the district level. He'll be missed by many
Scouts and Scouters.

Troop 28 is a troop of over 40 boys with a large adult participation. Troop outings include camping, backpacking, swimming, biking, hiking and a lot more. The troop recycles newspapers and the boys can earn 1 dollar a foot for any newspapers they bring in. The money goes into their own scout account and can be used for any scout related activities or supplies. This is a good way for the boys to learn financial responsibility and help the troop out at the same time. Troop 28 has a long and rich history in Santa Ana. Thanks to an excellent participation of boys and adults this troop has earned National Quality Unit and Founders Award many years in a row.
Troop 28 encourages Scouts to provide assistance with the upkeep of the web page with articles about Troop events authored by the Scouts and other information concerning the Troop activities or members. Scouts and parents are encouraged to check the website often to learn more about Troop activities.
